strike in 1936 in the "Sfinx"

Prišiel mi mail so žiadosťou o pomoc. Toto je skor pre pamätníkov. Vie niekto poradiť?
-------------------------------------------------------------------
(Eugen Jakubovic, born in 1919 in Revuca) worked in Filakovo in 1934 till 1938 in the textile store of Eugen Braun. I am writing my father´s reminiscences.

On the 6th of this July my father, my brother and his wife and me were in Filakovo in order to see some places associated with my father´s history...

We visited "Thorma" ("Kovosmalt") which was called formerly "Sfinks". My father remembers the long strike in 1936 in the "Sfinx"
factory in Filakovo and also that other citizens joined them . The strikers went with their families to the forest at the foot of Fenyves hill. When we arrived Filakovo, we wanted to see this Fenyves hill. Most of the local citizens that we asked didn´t know this name. Some said that it is Vorosko and one said that this is a different one.

I would appreciate very much your help to get the exact information about this strike including the exact dates and what is the Fenyves hill (is it Vorosko, what is its Slovakian name etc.) and how it is connected to the strike? If I can get a copy of an old newspaper reportage from that period about the strike or any printed matter of it (even in Slovak or Hungarian), it will be wonderful too.

I will appreciate very much your full reply soon.
